Wednesday was an epic journey to the land of pechuli oil. We got started a little late because a birthday girl got lost, but still made it in time for beers before the game. Oddly enough the bar we went to seemed suprised that so many people were going to the game.
The largest crowd in US Cup history watched the Sounders topple the Timbers 2-1. The South Sound Supporters had a couple of sleeping giants attend the game - Mike "Huh...what" Cassaw and Adam "I was not that drunk" Gunnarson - but all returned in good spirits. Seeing the number of Sounder supporters in attendance bodes well for the 2011 MLS season and the re-birth of a great rivalry.
